Katherine Jane Parkinson (born 9 March 1978)[1] is an English actress. She has appeared in several television comedy series, including as Jen Barber in Channel 4's The IT Crowd, for which she received a British Comedy Best TV Actress Award in 2009 and 2014, and for which she was nominated twice for the BAFTA Television Award for Best Female Comedy Performance, winning once in 2014.
